Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is Gordon Ramsay’s only three Michelin-starred restaurant. Since its inception in 1998, the restaurant has managed to maintain its three Michelin-starred status. Other than being a well-respected culinarian, Gordon Ramsay is also one of the most famous celebrity chefs in the media, known particularly for his fiery temper other than his passion for cooking. He has also mentored many protégés who went on to become famous chefs in their own rights. I’m going to try to remain unbiased in my review, even though he’s my all time favourite culinary idol.
Lasarte is a two Michelin- starred restaurant owned by Basque chef Martin Berasategui specializing in modern Catalan cuisine. I was really excited for this experience as I’m not very well-versed in Spanish cuisine. In anticipation of this meal, I looked forward to expanding my horizon.
We decided to splurge and go for the eleven-course tasting menu. Lasarte is definitely generous with amuse-bouches and we ended up receiving six amuse-bouches before the courses proceeded.
